Whilst not being the cheapest of the estimates, Barefoot were still very competitive, and Don immediately stood out head and shoulders above the other people I saw. The work I wanted done wasn’t easy, as I needed a large existing cupboard removed, and I had no existing fireplace or chimney. However, he spent several hours with me, and took me through all the many options available to me. I wanted a rustic feel to the fireplace/hearth, using reclaimed materials. He quickly understood my aspirations, as the bricks that he provided were absolutely fantastic. I am now in possession of a wonderful hand built fireplace, with a herringbone style pattern on the hearth. The black coated twin flue chimney has blended in very well with the outside of the house. Don knows everything there is to know about wood burning stoves, and is a perfectionist. Both he and his wonderful assistant Adam were a pleasure to have in the house during the build.
